Raven Nel for Mr South Africa
Cradock Hoërskool is baie opgewonde om aan te kondig dat Raven Nel, oud-skolier van CHS, ‘n finalis is in die 2017 Mnr. Suid-Afrika kompetisie.
Raven het in 2011 aan CHS gematrikuleer, waarna hy Sportbestuur aan die Sentrale Universiteit van die Vrystaat studeer het. Hy slaag sy graad Cum Laude en voltooi ook ‘n nagraadse sertifikaat in onderwys. Raven is tans ‘n onderwyser aan Roseview Laerskool te Bloemfontein.
Raven dra die behoeftes van kinders baie na aan sy hart en het as deel van die Mnr. Suid-Afrika kompetisie bewusmaking en fondsinsameling vir ondermeer CANSA asook die CHOC-huis in Bloemfontein begin doen. Raven is ook aktief betrokke by die Engo-kinderhuis, ‘n instansie wat hy gereeld besoek en ook ondersteun met skenkings en fondinsamelings.
Verder leef Raven sy passie uit deur skole te besoek en motiveringspraatjies met leerders te doen.
CHS wens Raven alle sterkte toe vir die 2017 Mnr. Suid-Afrika kompetisie. As ‘n voormalige Mnr. Persoonlikheid-wenner in die Mnr. & Mej. CHS kompetisie weet ons dat hy harte sal steel en homself goed van die taak sal kwyt.
